FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How far in advance should I book my bridal makeup artist?

Most brides book their bridal makeup around 12–18 months in advance, particularly for popular spring and summer dates. If you're getting married in Reading, Berkshire or the surrounding areas, I'd recommend checking availability as soon as your wedding date and venue are confirmed.

2. When should I have my bridal makeup trial?

I recommend having your bridal makeup trial around 2–3 months before your wedding day. We'll use this time to create and refine your look, talk through your skin, wedding style and preferences, and make sure you feel completely confident with your chosen makeup

3. How long will my bridal makeup last?

Your bridal makeup is designed to last from the wedding morning right through to the evening celebrations. I use professional long-wear products and techniques suited to your skin, and I'll also give you guidance on any small touch-ups you may want to make throughout the day.

4. Do you travel to wedding venues?

Yes. I provide mobile bridal makeup across Reading, Berkshire and surrounding areas, travelling to your chosen venue or getting-ready location on the wedding morning. Any applicable travel costs will be confirmed as part of your bridal quotation.

5. Can you accommodate larger bridal parties?

Absolutely. Makeup can be booked for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride or groom and other members of your bridal party. For larger bookings, additional artists can be arranged where required, and I'll create a carefully planned schedule to ensure everyone is ready on time.

6. What if I don't normally wear much makeup?

Many of my brides don't wear lots of makeup day-to-day and worry about not feeling like themselves. Your bridal makeup will be completely tailored to your features, personal style and comfort level — enhancing you rather than masking you.

7. Are lashes included in my bridal makeup?

Yes. Lashes are included where desired and will be chosen to complement your eye shape and finished bridal look. We can keep them soft and natural or add a little more definition depending on your preference.
