Before turning freelance, Katie spent five years with MAC Cosmetics. She became the youngest Regional Trainer in the UK and watched over the recruitment, development, artistry training and qualification of several hundred MAC Artists in the South West. Whilst working for MAC she also worked backstage across more than eight seasons of Paris and London Fashion Weeks, where she was lucky enough to work with key makeup artists like Val Garland and Terry Barber, for shows including Peter Pilloto, Nico Panda and Garaph Pugh.
